When I first saw this word I thought it had something to do with Lindsay Lohan — but Lohasians or LOHAS is a term created by marketers to identify those of us interested in lifestyles of health and sustainability. While I’m not sure this term is going to catch on, many of us are interested in the philosophy behind Lohasian.

LOHAS consumers buy recycled-paper goods, eat organic foods, want to drive fuel-efficient cars, and are open to a variety of spiritual practices. Not sure if this is you? You can take a quiz to see how Lohasian you are.

So, now you know. If someone calls you a Lohasian, it’s not a bad thing.
